With a faculty that is truly unmatched, Shake The Floor stands to become America's most innovative jazz workshop & show combined!! The week of classes and rehearsals will be action packed. The first half of each day will be a top rate workshop with choreographers for such stars as NSYNC, Madonna, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson, Eden's Crush, and the Broadway show "Footloose." The classes will be a mix of jazz, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical.

Participants will be dancing on professional marley floors and some classes will even include live music. The second half of each day is filled with intense rehearsals with each participant being cast in at least two numbers for the show. All Shake The Floor participants will perform in the show, and on July 14th there will be an audition for casting/placement. Shake The Floor will be choreographed by one of America's hottest young choreographers, Dan Karaty.

Most recently, Dan has been a judge on the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance?” All classes and rehearsals will be held at The Hyatt West Hollywood right in the heart of Hollywood! The show is held at very cool club/theatre right near the hotel! Shake The Floor will be an event like no other - a chance for serious dancers to dance and rehearse with today's hottest choreographers, in the entertainment capital of the world!
