 Break The Floor
began as the desire to create a blockbuster Off-Broadway show using diverse
talent from around the world. The first half of each day will be a top-rate tap
workshop with a world renowned faculty from shows like "Tap Dogs,"
"Noise/Funk," "Riverdance," and "42nd St." The workshop classes will include
live music such as drums, guitar and piano. The second half of each day is
filled with intense rehearsals with each participant being cast in a number for
the show. All participants will perform in the show, and on July 21st there will
be an audition for casting/placement. All classes and rehearsals are held at
The Crowne Plaza Hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The show is held at
an Off-Broadway theater in New York City. Break The Floor will be a first-rate
production advertised to the general public. The show will include a live rock
band, percussionists, an onstage camera crew, and professional production
value. Break The Floor is an on-going professional production which has been,
and will continue to, utilize participants found at the Break The Floor
workshop.

Times called BTF, "An explosion of energy!", and the New York Post called it "A
rock n' roll tap-dance spectacle!" Break The Floor is simply the most intense
and original tap workshop/show in the country.
